10/2009 - Building Diagnostics Group, Inc is now offering the ASTM C1715-09 Standard Test Method for Evaluation of Water Leakage Performance of Masonry Wall Drainage Systems. This standard procedure is used to determine the ability of masonry wall drainage systems to collect water that penetrates the exterior masonry during rainstorms and to direct this water back to the exterior surface of the wall via drainage systems. It’s a great tool for quality assurance (new construction) and forensic investigations. For more info click here

9/2009 - Building Diagnostics Group, Inc. has successfully met the requriements of the AAMA InstallationMasters™ Training and Certification program. InstallationMasters™, prompted by the Building Environment and Thermal Envelope Council (BETEC) through the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and development by the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA), is a nationwide training and certifications program for new construction and replacement installers of windows and exterior glass doors in residential and light commercial markets.

7/2009 - Building Diagnostics Group, Inc infrared thermography services aided the law firm of Childress, Duffy, Goldblatt, Ltd to successfully win a 2004 hurricane property damage case against Citizens Property Insurance Company. The jury awarded the Inlet Condominium Association 3.3 million dollars for damages. The claims were made under an insurance policy and was litigated in Volusia County, FL. 7/2009 - Building Diagnostics Group, Inc infrared thermography services aided the law firm of Childress, Duffy, Goldblatt, Ltd to successfully settle a 2004 hurricane property damage case in the amount of 2 million dollars for the Aliki Forum Condominium Association in Daytona Beach, Florida. The settlement was with QBE Insurance Corporation. The claims were made under an insurance policy and was litigated in Volusia County, FL.

3/2009 - Building Diagnostics Group, Inc infrared thermography services aided the law firm of Childress, Duffy, Goldblatt, Ltd to successfully resolve a 2004 hurricane related claim for the Oceans Atrium & Ocean Atrium One Condominium Associations. The two adjacent 12 story towers are located in Daytona Beach. The claims were made under Citizens Property Insurance Company's policy and were litigated in Volusia County, FL.

11/2008 - Building Diagnostics Group, Inc launches new website. Our new site also has a client section “Client Extranet” that allows us to post project information, daily site photos, and final reports. All of our client files are hosted on our server and protected by several backup servers and the latest online security. We would like to thank Carlos at ISOOSI Communications for the great work!

10/2008 - Building Diagnostics Group, Inc infrared thermography services aided the law firm of Childress, Duffy, Goldblatt, Ltd to successfully win a 2004 hurricane property damage case against Citizens Property Insurance Company. The jury awarded the Sunglow Resort Condominium Association $950,000 for damages. The claims were made under an insurance policy and was litigated in Volusia County, FL.

9/2008 - Building Diagnostics Group, Inc infrared thermography and environmental services aided the law firm of Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert, L.L.C to settle a hurricane damage claim resulting in property damage from Hurricane Katrina. The case involved a national hotel in New Orleans, LA.

8/2008 - Building Diagnostics Group, Inc opens its Atlanta, GA office. Our office is located at 8343 Roswell Road Suite 381, Atlanta, GA 30350. This office will serve our clients well as we frequently travel all over the United States and will now be able to provide local service to the Metro Atlanta area. Hartsfield-Jackson Airport (ATL) will allow us to better serve our clients by quicker deployments, especially for acquisition projects that are usually time sensitive. Our office in SW Florida will remain operational to serve our Florida clients as well. All Florida clients should contact us as usual at 239-567-2888.
