Hidden water infiltrations in your Naples residential or commercial building can cost you thousands and may open you up to liability. Typically these defects are hidden and are not found until substantial water damage to sheathing and structural components are noticed within the building.It is important to note that infrared thermography is a non-destructive testing method. The examples above are to illustrate the accuracy of our findings. We do recommend some destructive testing on certain stucco systems.
It is important to understand that thermal imaging is not an “x-ray”, and anyone referring to it as an x-ray does not understand the basic principles of thermography. Thermal imaging is nothing more than the interpretation surface temperature of an object or in this case, a building material. Proper interpretation is essential to accurate reporting. The wind, sun, material, air flow throughout the inner walls, and condition of an object can change the interpretation of the image.
